Earlier today, I got an email from the longest client I’ve had for my business. The email he forwarded was from Zywave and it looked like a cold email sent to her directly. Right away, my IT senses were tingling. A quick Google search showed fairly recently they had to settle an $11 million dollar lawsuit. Even scrolling through the first page, I counted no less than two dozen other lawsuits from the last 5 years. I told them to avoid Zywave at all costs.
Less than two minutes later, $troubleUser replied and said they were going ahead with using them, but they “would not be sharing” their information. Bear in mind my client is a health insurance broker with dozens of businesses in the area with hundreds of employees. If even one password got compromised, they’d be royally screwed.
